My Story
Blog #1: Becoming a Cricut Ambassador
"Wow! You're a Cricut Ambassador, now you work for them! They pay you!"
Actually, no. But I get benefits like free Cricut products and they help my business by connecting me with a crafting community as well as help generate business to my instagram page. When Martin Kruger emailed me about the ambassadorship I was super excited. Cricut hadn't launched in Israel yet, and I thought this would be a great opportunity for me to grow my platform and my business by show Israeli's what Cricut is all about.
I run a custom signage business. It's doing surprisingly really well even though I started during the heart of coronavirus. I use my instagram to show the art and signs that I make. This is how Cricut found me. I love making tutorials and reels of all the cool stuff I can make with my machine. These blogs will be here for you to look at as a guide to learn and get inspired to make your own projects with your Cricut machine.
Cricut is growing worldwide, and fast! I'm grateful to be a part of this community. There's so many good things to come from here. Today, I wanted to share my latest project that I made. It actually wasn't a sign, but a custom commision to make a fashion sketch on a mirror for a clients bedroom. She studied fashion in school and she knew that I did too..she reached out and asked me to make her a fashion sketch using Vinyl and putting it on a mirror for her wall. Right away I was so excited to do this project.
As always, my process begins with mocks ups. I send her the fashion sketch, then we chose colors and a mirror to put it on. It felt really great to do a different project, one that brought back memories from college. So, once we finalized the design that a drew on my Ipad in Procreate, I saved the design with no background as a PNG and uploaded my images into Cricut design space.
